We’ve redesigned Second Table Ministries’ website, and integrated it with our FaceBook page and Newsletter. As part of our new approach, we’ve also renamed our web site SideBySide to make it easier for new visitors to immediately grasp what Second Table Ministries does with our partners and friends in South Africa and here in America.

What hasn’t changed is our passion for bringing people together to meet the critical challenges of nutrition, education and social services that our South African Champions struggle with every day. With God’s help, your support, and their hard work, we will continue to see lives changed and a new generation grow up with brighter futures.

SideBySide not only expresses STM’s commitment to forge partnerships across racial, cultural and ecoscreen-shot-2016-11-04-at-10-08-56-amnomic barriers. The new name also echoes a guiding principle of South Africa’s Freedom Charter the people’s cry out for relief from the oppressions of Apartheid:

THESE FREEDOMS WE WILL FIGHT FOR, SIDE BY SIDE, THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES, UNTIL WE HAVE WON OUR LIBERTY

STM identifies with this powerful statement of unity and cooperation. And as we grow in our reach and impact, we are determined to work SideBySide with our South African brothers and sisters as God allows.

Let us know what you think, jump into our Facebook page, take a look at our new Munsieville project, get in contact with others who, like you, want to make a difference.
